Women's Retreat

It’s easy for women to question their worth in a world that constantly tells us we need to be more, do more, and give more. At The WoW Retreat, we’ll explore 1 Corinthians 12–13 and discover what God says about our identity, our unique role in the body of Christ, and hearing His voice. Come slow down, connect, and be reminded of just how deeply you are loved and valued by God.

Dates: November 6-7
Cost: $159 for 2 queen beds, $215 for 1 king bed
Registration Deadline: end of day on Sunday, October 4.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:
* Check in starts at 3:00pm on Friday, November 6
* Catered dinner (6:00pm) and snacks on Friday night
* Hotel breakfast and catered lunch on Saturday, November 7
* Retreat ends at approximately 4:00pm on Saturday, November 7
* Dinner groups will be meeting up in downtown St. Joseph at 5:00pm on Saturday, November 7 (this will be optional and at your own expense, but will provide the opportunity for further fun and connection with other women)
* Hotel has a pool and fitness center available if you’d like to use those!

* Bible (if you have one; we'll have extra if you don't have your own)
* Swimsuit (hotel has a pool if you want to try it out)
* Easy to learn games (if you have them)
* Comfy clothes for a girls night in!

Lisa Dettinger (wife, mother, and grandma) has many “Martha” attributes. She’s the
Director and a teacher for the Christian high school she started in 2020, is a certified life
coach with a spiritual formation niche, owns an educational resources business, has
written curriculum for schools and churches, created three e-courses, published two
books, helped start a Christian school in Ghana, Africa, serves on the Freedom Ministry
at her church, co-leads a Freedom Bootcamp with her husband, and speaks at retreats,
conventions, camps, and church events. However, Lisa’s “Mary” attributes are the ones
she values most: sitting at the feet of Jesus, meditating on the Father’s love and on the
Word, and reveling in His active Holy Spirit. After surrendering her previous
performance mentality in order to be a vessel for the Lord, Lisa now lives a “Mare-tha”
life with Jesus instead of performing for Him. Her life verse is 2 Corinthians 9:8 and her
motto is “To live is Christ.”
